Buy Your Tickets for Graduation Week Events!
**YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING ANY TICKETS**
Tickets are still available for the Nationals Game on May 11 and the Night of Fun at Dave & Busters on Wednesday May 14. You must purchase your tickets by Thursday May 8, 2008 at 12 noon. If you are still interested in tickets for the Potomac River Dinner Cruise on May 10, please contact the graduation committee at gradcmte@gmail.com.
Tickets for each event are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. To purchase tickets for an event, click on the event name and fill out the form on the next screen as instructed. You will then be directed to a screen where you can select the number of tickets you would like to buy and enter in your credit card information (Visa and MC only).
Each graduating student may purchase one ticket for him/herself and up to two guests. If you would like to bring more than the allowed number of guests, please email your name, phone number, the event and number of additional guests you would like to bring to gradcmte@gmail.com. Tickets will be distributed to additional guests (on a first-emailed, first-served basis) if additional tickets are available after ticket sales to students close. Tickets will be distributed to those who have purchased them either at will call or from a WCL graduation committee representative at the event location just before the event starting time.
- Saturday, May 10 - Potomac Dinner Cruise aboard the Odyssey (194 tickets available)
$50 per person - Includes Dinner (Cash Bar on your own)
Boarding time 7 p.m. Cruise 8 – 11 p.m.
Description: Odyssey III (the flat one with the glass top!) departs from Gangplank Marina at the corner of 6th and Water Streets. Dinner, coffee, tea and iced tea are included with the price of your ticket. Alcohol and soft drinks are available for purchase on board. Attire: A jacket and tie are recommended for gentleman for our dinner cruises and business casual attire for our lunch, brunch, midday and moonlight cruises. Absolutely no jeans or athletic shoes are allowed on the Odyssey. Weather permitting, Odyssey III will cruise beneath the Memorial Bridge past the Kennedy Center to Georgetown. At times when wind and tide conditions prevent navigation through the canal, an alternate route, south on the Potomac, and past historic Old Town Alexandria will be taken.
- Sunday, May 11 - Nationals Game v. Florida Marlins (125 tickets available)
$10 per person - Section 419 (in the new stadium!)
Description: 1:05 p.m. game time start at the new stadium! All WCL students and guests will be sitting in the same section.
- Tuesday, May 13 - Elektra, an opera production at the Kennedy Center
- $35 per person for prime (center) orchestra seating (15 tickets available)
- $20 per person for side orchestra seating (35 tickets available)
Description: Agamemnon, king of ancient Mycenae, has been murdered by his wife and her lover. Obsessed with her father's death, Elektra will stop at nothing until his death is avenged, but when her brother returns from exile and carries out her wishes, the mental strain proves too much for her, as the opera culminates in a frenzied dance of vengeance. Performed in German with English supertitles. PROGRAM NOTE: There will be NO LATE SEATING at this performance. Running time is approximately 1 hour, 35 minutes - with NO intermission.

$15 per person includes: heavy appetizers, unlimited billiards and miniature golf, $5 game card, and round-trip bus transportation from the Tenleytown Metro station
Description: Includes: heavy appetizers, unlimited billiards and miniature golf, $5 game card, and round-trip bus transportation from the Tenleytown Metro station 7 – 11 p.m., first bus will leave Tenley at 6:30 (buses will leave as filled), and first bus will leave D&B at 10 p.m. (and leave as filled). - Thursday, May 15 - Final Class of 2008 Bar Review! – This is not a ticketed Event!
Where: Rumors, on the Southwest corner of 19th and M Streets, NW (Dupont/Farragut Metro Stations)
When: 9 p.m. until you can't dance anymore!
What: from 9 p.m. - 12 midnight, happy hour specials: $3.30 Coors, Miller, Bud and Rail Drinks and No Cover!We hope you'll come out for this student-organized event - Rumors is going to be ready for a big crowd!
