I'm a 24 year old 3L from Charleston, WV. My studies and internships here have centered around criminal law. By the end of this year, I'd like for everyone to really believe that the SBA is here solely to help them, and for the student body to trust in our abilities. The Academic Affairs Committee members are Aaron Weisbuch, Molly Conway and Hauwa Otori. Our meeting times are still being worked out, but this year we hope to continue improvements in disseminating information about classes for the entire year, as well as the ever-frustrating late-grades policies. My name is Arlet Abrahamian, and I am the SBA Transfer Students Chairperson for the 2009-10 school year. My goal as the Transfer Students Chairperson is to ensure that transfer students make a smooth transition from their previous law schools to life at WCL. I hope to achieve this goal by holding events where transfer students can get to know each other and other WCL students, and also by making myself available to transfer students as a resource and a friendly face on campus.
