Description

The class examines selected legal issues concerning the protection of consumer rights with a focus on applicable law and public policy concerns. Among the topics included are: Consumer/Citizen Empowerment Legislation; Binding Mandatory Arbitration, Plain Legal Language, Lemon Laws; Unconscionable Contracts; E-commerce; Consumer Class Actions; New Models of Consumers Banding Together; and Contracts of Adhesion.
