Description

This course is an introduction to appellate advocacy. The class will begin with an examination of the basic concepts governing appellate procedure, including appellate jurisdiction and standards of review. The remainder of the class will be devoted to a study of brief writing and oral argument techniques. All students are expected to complete an appellate brief and a moot argument.
