This course meets 6/11-6/15.
Description
The course will cover the international response to climate change through the UNFCCC with a focus on the effectiveness of existing approaches and the current status of negotiations. The course will also examine examples of how climate change interacts with other bodies of international law (e.g., Human Rights, Law of the Sea). Finally, if time allows, we will briefly examine elements of climate policy in the United States.
