Description

This is an advanced writing course specifically designed for multilingual students and those coming from other academic cultures. As per the upper level writing requirement, the course ensures that international students and visiting legal scholars demonstrate competency in legal research and writing by composing a product that evidences qualities of U.S. legal scholarship, writing ability, and craftsmanship. Ongoing teacher-student interaction takes place in the selection of topic and research plan, formation of the outline, review of the rough draft, and critique of the final draft before submission to a law professor or advisor for summative assessment in a law school course.
