This seminar is ONLY for students who are externing OUTSIDE of the United States. This is a three credit class. IMPORTANT: This long distance seminar will meet at WCL for a three-to-four day intensive seminar for the week of May 12, and reconvene again at WCL for a three-to-four day intensive seminar during the week of August 18. Attendance is MANDATORY. REGISTRATION: There are three parts to registering for an international externship: 1) Go to http://www.wcl.american.edu/externship/international.cfm and turn in all necessary document and forms BEFORE APRIL 2) Register on-line for the seminar as you would for any class. 3) Register for the field placement by going to the Externship Page www.wcl.american.edu/externship and submit a Request for Approval, which generates the necessary forms.

Description

This is a three-credit, graded seminar. It is taken in conjunction with a field placement in a non-profit, court, government organization, or a private law firm doing pro bono work. This seminar will meet: Tuesday, May 13th 1-6 Wednesday, May 14th 1-5:30 Thursday, May 15th 1-5:30 Monday, August 18th, 1-6 Tuesday, August 19th, 1-5:30 Wednesday, August 20th, 1-5:30
