Description
This is a three-credit hour graded seminar course where students working in externship field placements will explore various roles lawyers serve in the legal profession. The seminar is taken in conjunction with a field placement in a non-profit, court office government organization, or a private law firm doing pro bono work. We will explore different topics such as: ethical issues in the workplace, skill development, and how to develop and maintain a fulfilled legal career with a healthy balanced life. The format of the seminar will be discussion-based and include simulations, role-plays, a field trip and guest speakers.
