Description

This seminar will introduces students to the legal, business, and analytical skills necessary to counsel business clients in various stages of development of their businesses. It has a unique structure, which all students must be aware of and accept as a prerequisite for registering for this class. The heart of the seminar is class discussion and analysis of the substantial required readings and group projects on two (2) case study problem sets. The class requires substantial initiative and diligence on each student’s part to succeed, and is suitable for those students who are prepared to make the necessary commitments to this seminar. There will be no final examination.

First Class Readings

All reading assignments are to be fully and carefully read prior to class except for those that you are told to skim. Assigned reading materials not covered in a class session automatically become part of the next class assignment.
