Description

Administrative Law is the body of law governing relations between private citizens and the government. This course will cover four main topics: (1) the constitutional foundations of administrative power; (2) administrative adjudication, (3) rulemaking and regulation, and (4) judicial review of agency decisionmaking.

The required casebook for this course is Michael Asimow & Ronald Levin, State and Federal Administrative Law (3rd ed.) (West 2009). I will also download the authors’ most recent supplement and put it on my WCL, along with my own supplemental collection of readings.
