| Center For Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Communications 1853 and 1854 (Chile) 1853, is the case of the statement presented to the CIDH by a group of lawyers in Santiago, during the Commission's visit to Chile between July and August 1974. The Commission considered this case during the course of its thirty-fifth session (May 1975) and, in view of the nature of the statement, it decided to file the statement as the processing required under the Regulations without prejudice taking it into account in the study of human rights in Chile. 1854, of July 25, 1974, on the arrest of Hugo Anselmo Chacaltana Silva, a minor, a denunciation transmitted to the Government of Chile on July 29, 1974.In this note of July 31, 1974 (No. 12847), the Government of Chile provided the following information:
