Works in Progress Intellectual Property Colloquium 2007

The Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property (PIJIP) of the American University Washington College of Law will host the Fifth Annual Works in Progress Intellectual Property Colloquium on Friday and Saturday, September 28-29, 2007.

The Colloquium offers an opportunity for intellectual property scholars to present their works-in-progress and get early feedback from their colleagues.  Participants are welcome to present, but presentation is not required. To view the program from last year's colloquium go to: http://www.law.pitt.edu/madison/wipip2006/program.htm.

The colloquium will begin after noon on Friday, September 28th and will conclude before dinner on Saturday, September 29th.  Dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday will be provided, as well as coffee breaks.

To register as a presenter --
Please submit a title and abstract, along with your name and contact information, to Prof. Josh Sarnoff at jsarnoff@wcl.american.edu.  To minimize conflicts with the 2007 TPRC Conference that will be held on Friday September 28th and Saturday September 29th, please indicate if you are least able to present on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, or Saturday afternoon.   Full papers will be due by September 7, 2007.  In arranging the presentation schedule, preference may be given to presenters who deliver full papers by this date.

To register to attend--
If you are a law school teacher and would like to register to attend, please fill in the form at http://www.wcl.american.edu/secle/wipip_form.cfm by September 14, 2007.  For additional information about program logistics, please contact Sean Flynn, Associated Director, PIJIP, at sflynn@wcl.american.edu , 202-274-4157.
