International Travel Insurance Information
All Washington College of Law/American University students and visiting students are required to be under the University's international health insurance policy while on university-sponsored international travel, regardless of whether or not they have an existing insurance.
Participants in the London-Paris-Geneva 2012 summer abroad program are covered automatically at no additional expense. The insurance coverage is paid for by WCL for the official program dates only. Further insurance coverage is solely the student's responsibility. The International Student ID card offers an international insurance plan. Some credit cards also do (e.g. American Express).
AceUSA is the University's provider of this primary coverage for international travel.
