Fourteenth Comparative Summer Law Program in Europe

Credits and Tuition

Basic cost for the program is $8,100 which represents tuition for six Law School credit hours at the 2007-2008 rate of $1,350 per hour. Included at no additional cost are: room on a shared-occupancy basis and breakfast daily (except in Paris); some additional meals; health and accident insurance coverage; some transportation and transfers; some materials; receptions, and concluding festive celebrations in Paris and Geneva.

Single room supplement: $1,950.

Up to April 1, 2008, the Washington College of Law reserves the right to charge an additional fee should it become necessary because of currency fluctuations.

A $400 refundable deposit must accompany the application; the balance of $7,700 is due when the accepted student is invoiced in due course by the University. Please note: the University accepts payment by credit card for the deposit only. The balance must be paid by cash, check, electronic money transfer etc.

Students are responsible for international airfare, transfers to hotels, most meals, personal expenses, transportation within Europe, textbooks, etc. On average, at least $60 per day should be budgeted for daily expenses (main meals, snacks, local transportation, and incidentals), depending, of course, on individual taste and lifestyle and on currency exchange rates.
