Dear ADR Leader,

Are you interested in criminal law? Over 90% of criminal charges are resolved out of court and many successful criminal cases do not end with a jury verdict. To avoid a costly and lengthy trial, attorneys use the ever useful and highly valued plea bargain. Plea bargaining is an art: the trick is to know when to accept the deal and when to delay acceptance while working on a counter-offer. If you are interested in showcasing your negotiation skills, this is an opportunity to participate in a fun and original competition which highlights the important and effective agreements made behind closed doors.
