Stephen Wermiel, Esq., was appointed Associate Professor of Law at the Washington College of Law in 2001 and is Co-Director of WCL's Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, and has served as Associate Director of the Program on Law and Government. He teaches constitutional law, a seminar on the Supreme Court and media law. He is a member of the ABA editorial boards of Human Rights and Communications Lawyer. Wermiel has been a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and was the Supreme Court correspondent for the Wall Street Journal and a Washington reporter for the Boston Globe. Wermiel earned his B.A. at Tufts University and his J.D. at the Washington College of Law.
