Nicholas Kittrie, Esq., is a professor at American University Washington College
of Law. Among his many accomplishments, he has edited and authored multiple publications,
including Rebels with a Cause: The Minds and Morality of Political Offenders.
Kittrie also chairs the UN Alliance of NGOs for Crime Prevention and Criminal
Justice and vice-chairs the World Association of NGOs. In addition, he is founder
and chairman of Interest Group on the Status of Minorities and other Communities,
American Society of International Law. Kittrie holds degrees from the University
of Kansas (A.B., M.A., L.L.B.) and Georgetown University Law Center (L.L.M., S.J.D.).
