Major General James T. Jackson is the Vice President and Director of the Battelle
Office of Homeland Security. Jackson has extensive hands-on experience in program
development, personnel management, operations direction, security operations,
establishing and meeting strategic and operational goals, and resource allocation.
Recently, Jackson received a three-month leave of absence to assist in establishing
the office of the Chief Operating Officer for the Coalition Provisional Authority
in Iraq, where he provided oversight of 11 Directorates with Senior Advisors to
Iraqi Ministries. Holding a B.S. in Aerospace Technology from Kent State University
and a M.S. in Personnel Management from Central Michigan University, Jackson has
held various leadership positions within the U.S. Army with operational experience
in strategic planning, team building, financial management, communications, risk
management, and security operations.
