George Foote, Esq., is a corporate lawyer with a focus in telecommunications,
technology, and defense representation for domestic and international companies.
Addressing clients’ regulatory and antitrust needs, Foote’s practice
includes formation of business entities, representation of clients in financing
transactions, and negotiation of contracts. He has represented major foreign defense
contractors in acquisition of United States properties before U.S. Government
administrative and political bodies reviewing national security and antitrust
issues. Foote also helped organize the Electronic Commerce Association, addressing
privacy and standards issues for companies participating in Internet and mobile
commerce. Foote serves as general counsel to public charities and other not-for-profit
organizations ranging from small family foundations to large, publicly supported
national and state-based charities.
