Competitors Advancing To Semi-Finals and Finals
Congratulations to the students who participated in the 2005 Alvina Reckman-Myers First Year Competition!
In light of rescheduling conflicts encountered as a result of the weather, and pursuant to the rules and bylaws
of the Alvina Reckman-Myers First Year Moot Court Competition, the number of rounds in this year's competition has been
amended. There will be no quarter-final rounds. However, the same number of students that would have otherwise advanced
to quarter-finals (32) will be advancing to the semi-final round; this number does not account for ties. The four highest
scoring competitors from the semi-final round will then advance to the final round.
Those competitors who have advanced to the semi-final round will be notified directly by email as to the location
and time of the round. This information will also be accessible on this website when it becomes available. At this time,
both the semi-final and final rounds are scheduled to take place on Friday, January 28, 2005. Please feel free to email
the competition directors with any questions.
