Health Law & Policy
The Health Law & Policy Brief (HLP) is a bi-annual publication featuring works on a wide range of health-related topics, including bioethics, managed care, global and public health, medical liability, disability law, and food and drug law. It is the only publication at the law school dedicated to the rapidly emerging and increasingly prominent field of health law. HLP accepts full-length article submissions from academics, health care practitioners, attorneys, and students. In addition to full-length articles, each issue features shorter student columns on current trends and developments in health law. HLP grew out of the Health Law Bulletin, which was started in 2004 with just four students on staff and continued until 2007. HLP is now in its fifth year, has a staff of over 30 students, and has become an integral part of the law school's growing health law program. The eleventh issue of HLP will be published in spring 2012.
