The Health Law & Justice Society (HLJS) is a student-run organization that seeks to promote health law opportunities for WCL students. HLJS seeks to encourage professional development, explore career opportunities, expand the health law curriculum, and raise awareness of the right to health. HLJS accomplishes these goals by sponsoring panel discussions with practicing attorneys and professors; organizing community service events; and hosting lunch and learn opportunities on current issues in health law and policy.HLJS works closely with the Health Law & Justice Program and other groups to organize conferences and events that complement the health law curriculum.

Please visit the following pages to learn more about WCL's health law curriculum, including the health law specialization for Law & Government LL.M. students, as well as the variety of health law courses that few other law schools are able to match. To learn about WCL's summer Health Law curriculum, please see the Health Law & Policy Institute, which is also open to legal professionals and to students outside of the law school.
