Mission Statement
CEENISSO, or the Central & East Europe & Newly Independent States Student Organization, promotes student learning and experience with this part of the world. We offer a rich variety of programming including speaker series, bi-weekly language tables, embassy visits, parties, and other cultural and social events. Our programs focus on current international law issues relevant to the region and comparative legal issues like democratization, rule of law, environmental law, civil society, etc. We have several special events planned this semester including the 1st Annual Conference on Central Asia and a dinner with legal practitioners and experts on the CEENISSO part of the world.
