Jennifer Simile, class of 2014
Jennifer Simile is President of the Business Law Society. She is currently in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic at American University Washington College of Law. Jennifer is also the Business and Marketing Editor of the American University Business Law Review. Her recent publication is entitled Intentional Grounding: Field Quality in the NFL and the Legal Ramifications for Choice of Playing Surfaces and is featured in the John Marshal Law Review Volume 47.1. Jennifer interned at First Niagara Financial Group in the Office of General Counsel and at Waltman Brungo LLC.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Chicago where she majored in public policy. She is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Emmy Klint, class of 2014
Emmy is the Vice President of the Business Law Society. She is currently a student attorney at DC Law Students in Court, working in landlord tenant litigation. Emmy is also a senior staffer on the Administrative Law Review. Last year Emmy taught Constitutional Law to high schoolers in the Marshall Brennan Program. She has interned with FINRA, DC Superior Court, Annapolis District Court, and Trow and Rahal, a bushiness immigration law firm.
Emmy received her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in May 2011 from Mills College in Oakland, California. In 2010 she graduated from Mills College with a degree in Economics.
Emmy is from Rockford, Illinois.

Denise Wengert, class of 2015
Denise Wengert is Vice President of Operations for the Business Law Society. Denise is also a Junior Staff member on the American University Business Law Review and on the SBA Executive Board for Barrister’s Ball.
Denise graduated from Ithaca College where she majored in Legal Studies, with a Sociology minor. She is from Holland Patent, New York.

Shawntel Randi, class of 2014
Shawntel Randi is Vice President of Special Events for the Business Law Society. She is currently a student attorney for the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic at American University Washington College of Law. Shawntel has interned with Congressman Bill Owens, the Honorable David Demarest and Silver & Collins, LLP.
Shawntel graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University with a dual major in history and religious studies with a minor in government. She is from Canton, New York.

Ryan Van Olst, class of 2015
Ryan Van Olst is the Assistant Vice President of Special Events for the Business Law Society. He is currently a Junior Staff member on the American University Business Law Review. Ryan is also on the Executive Board for The Intellectual Property Law Society. Recently he has interned with Social Platform, a Brussels-based alliance of 46 NGO's dedicated to lobbying the EU for increased social and financial inclusion.
Ryan graduated from Florida State University, where he received a B.A. in International Affairs, a B.S. in Political Science, and a minor in Business. He was born and raised in Tampa, FL.
Sean Griffin, class of 2015
Sean Griffin is the Treasurer for the Business Law Society. Sean is a Student Attorney in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic at American University Washington College of Law and works as a Dean’s Fellow for the Washington College of Law Business Law Program. Sean is also a Law Clerk for the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and serves as a Sr. Staff on the American University Administrative Law Review.
Sean is from San Diego, CA and received a B.A. from University of California, Santa Cruz, where he majored in Political Science and Legal Studies.

Sasha Boshart, class of 2015
Sasha Boshart is VP of Alumni Relations of the Business Law Society. She is currently a Junior Staffer for the Business Law Review. Sasha has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland at College Park and majored in Government and Politics, specializing in international relations and third world development. She speaks four languages (English, French, Italian, and Spanish) and worked as a reporter for the Foster Natural Gas/Oil Report in 2011. Sasha recently interned at the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and is interested in pursuing a career in international trade or business law.

Alex Herd, class of 2014
Alex Herd is the VP of Technology for the Business Law Society. He is currently in the Prosecution Clinic at WCL. Alex is a senior staff member of American University Business Law Review. His recent publication R2DFord: Autonomous Vehicles and the Legal Implications of Varying Liability Structures will be published in the Fall of 2013 by Faulkner Law Review. Alex interned at the New York State Office of the Attorney General and hopes to work as a prosecutor in New York.
Alex graduated from Marist College as a psychology major. He is from Bay Shore, New York.
