Note From The Dean
I am very pleased to share with all of you a new development that will be very beneficial to our community. I have appointed Professor Susan Carle as Associate Dean for Scholarship. This is a new position whose purpose is to promote this important area of our academic activities, further strengthening the work we do in the pursuance of our overall educational goals, elevating scholarship to the level of an academic dean position.
This new academic dean will be inter alia, in charge of coordinating mentoring activities, serve as a focal point for our institutional memory, and promote internal and external developments concerning scholarship. I can hardly think of anyone more suitable to be our first Academic Dean of Scholarship than Susan Carle. She is a remarkable scholar recognized in our school as well as in the broader legal community. Please join me in congratulating her for this important recognition of her merits.
