Academic Requirements 
Participants must be:
- Full or part-time JD candidates in good standing at an ABA-approved or state accredited law school who have completed their first year of study by May 2012
- Candidates for graduate law degrees (LL.M., SJD)*
- JD graduates
*Due to changes in some state bar exam requirements, all LL.M. and SJD candidates should contact the Program Director and academic advisor before applying to the program to see if they are eligible.
Graduate students from other disciplines may be eligible. Please direct inquiries to the Program Director and eligibility will be determined on an individual basis.
When applying, non-WCL students must provide 2 items to the Program Director: a statement by their Dean or Registrar that they are in good standing (letter of good standing) and that they have permission to take these courses at WCL (a letter granting permission to study through the WCL program) , so that the credits/grades earned in the program will be accepted by the student’s home school.
All non-WCL students who will be sending a consortium agreement to WCL (for financial aid purposes): Please make sure to write the name of the specific program and a contact email address on the agreement before submitting it to WCL.
