  • Dean Grossman Participates in Convention against Torture Initiative Event

    On Tuesday evening, Dean Claudio Grossman will participate in a high level event held by the Convention against Torture Initiative (CTI) in New York City. The event will address a new global initiative for the universal ratification and implementation of the UN Convention against Torture, and will feature statements from Dean Grossman, in his capacity as Chairperson of the UN Committee against Torture, along with Martin Lidegaard, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, Hanna Tetteh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, R.M. Marty M. Natalegawa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, and Mbarka Bouaida, Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco. Statements will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by Secretary General of the Association for the Prevention of Torture Mark Thomson.
