EVENTS

In addition to the courses, and the Human Rights Month events the Academy also hosts other special activities for its participants. These events are open to persons enrolled in any of the Academy courses.

 

 

Specialized Summer Program Orientation

A general orientation of the Specialized Summer Program will be held on Monday, May 26th at 5 pm on the 6th floor of the Washington College of Law. Students will be able to pick up reading materials, register to attend the different special events as well as make changes in their course selection. This will be your first opportunity to meet the other participants and to start off the program. We look forward to seeing you there!

Night Tour of the Monuments

Explore the city after dark on a guided monuments tour. 

Tour includes stops at the Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean and FDR Memorials and views of The US Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, House and Senate Office Buildings, Federal Triangle, Pennsylvania Avenue, The White House, Capitol Reflecting Pool, Washington Monument, Georgetown and Marine Corps Memorial (Iwo Jima).
