Apply Now: Maryland Legal Aid Human Rights Project Internship
Location: Baltimore City, Prince George’s County and/or Frederick Offices. Other offices may accept law clerks as well.
Duties: Under the supervision of an attorney, the Human Rights Project Legal Intern at Maryland Legal Aid Bureau may be assigned tasks, including but not limited to: conducting factual investigations and analysis and legal research; preparing documents and correspondence which may include complaints, answers, discovery, memoranda of law and briefs; and assisting in the development of human rights framework and strategy for advocating on behalf of clients. Qualifications: Both 2Ls and 3Ls will be considered. Must have good written and oral communications skills and must demonstrate potential to perform duties of a law clerk. Preferably have taken 1-2 human rights law classes or have equivalent experience.
