Local Human Rights Lawyering Summer Internship
The Center’s Local Human Rights Lawyering Project Director is searching for a legal intern for the summer. For more information on the Local Human Rights Lawyering Project, please visit: http://www.wcl.american.edu/humright/center/locallawyering.cfm.
The Local Human Rights Lawyering legal intern will support the Project Director in an array of activities including some or all of the following: conducting factual investigations and analysis; legal research and writing; preparing documents and correspondence; and assisting in the development of human rights framework and strategy for advocating on behalf of clients. Successful applicants will have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, a demonstrated interest in human rights, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and exceptional writing skills in English.
