Dean's Fellowship at the Center

The Center is searching for a Dean’s Fellow for the Fall 2012 semester to support an array of communications activities, including website updates and social media support. Dean’s Fellows are considered part-time staff for the Center and are integrated into all Center programming and activities. The Center will prioritize 10 hrs/wk commitments. Successful applicants will have demonstrated success with social media, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, a demonstrated interest in human rights, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, and exceptional writing skills in English. Communications Fellowship at the Center

The Center for Human Rights & Humanitarian Law at American University Washington College of Law is accepting applications for its prestigious Fall 2012 Communications Fellowship. This fellowship position is open to current American University graduate students or recent graduates interested in a career in mission-driven communications. The Fellowship is for one semester (Fall 2012) with the possibility to extend up to a full calendar year. The position is unpaid, however academic credit may be earned.

We welcome interested candidates to submit a cover letter, resume, brief writing sample (no more than five pages), and sample of Adobe Creative Suite work to humlaw@wcl.american.edu with "Fall 2012 Communications Fellowship" in the subject line.
