Initiative for Human Rights in Business Co-Director presents a paper analyzing the private security industry


IHRIB Co-Director Rebecca DeWinter-Schmitt will be presenting a paper, A Critical Analysis of Proliferation, Dynamic Interaction, and Evolution of Self-regulation within the Private Security Industry, at the International Studies Association’s annual meeting in San Francisco. The paper, co-authored with American University's Kogod School of Business Professor Heather Elms, will be featured on a panel entitled “Providing Security in Challenging Environments: Evolutions in Security Management.” A copy of the paper can be found here or on the IHRIB website, www.ihrib.org.
