WCL 50th Street Conference Room (4301 50th Street, NW)

Attorneys with the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division office who are engaged in prosecuting human rights violations met with interested students and staff at the 50th Street Conference Room on April 2.  The roundtable format allowed the students to ask questions about the best steps to start a career in the DOJ and/or federal government.  The attorneys – Teresa McHenry, Michael Surgalla, and Ivana Nizich – also fielded questions about their own work at the DOJ.  This event was organized in part by WCL 3L and former Student Advisory Board member Solomon Shinerock
