A Presentation and Discussion with Journalist and Author John Conroy
The Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law hosted an exclusive lecture and discussion with John Conroy, author of Unspeakable Acts, Ordinary People. As a journalist and author, Mr. Conroy is one of the few people to have spent extensive time interviewing torturers from around the world. Mr. Conroy played audio tape selections of interviews conducted with actual torturers. The discussion centered on analyzing the interviews.
