The Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian law hosted this event in celebration of V-Day whose 2007 theme is "Reclaiming Peace," seeking to make a connection between the worldwide anti-violence work of thousands of V-Day activists with a collective desire for peace and an end to armed conflicts. As always, participants enjoyed fair trade Coffee, Argentine mate (the green caffeine), tea, and sweets with the WCL community. Among the sweets, chocolate vaginas were served – homemade by the WCL Vagina Monologues team. Participants got information on all upcoming opportunities to get involved in human rights as students, staff, and professors.
