Action for Human Rights: Spring 2003

The Center helped facilitate the creation of this new SBA-approved student group in support of activism for international human rights issues. Spring 2003 events included:

• Co-sponsored films for the Human Rights Film Festival

• Initiated a letter-writing campaign to encourage students to protest the treatment of political prisoners and victims of human rights violations around the world

• Organized its first "Human Rights Coffee Hour"
