Professor Shalleck founded and directs the Women and the Law Program and Women and International Law Program. She teaches the Women & the Law and the Intellectual Property Clinics, Family Law, and a seminar on Legal Theory and Legal Pedagogy. She writes and lectures widely about gender and the law, clinical education, gender and international law and family law. Professor Shalleck was a member of the DC Task Force on Gender Bias in the Courts. Her writing focuses on clinical education, trial advocacy, child custody and neglect, and feminist theory.
