Anjali Dave is a Senior Lecturer at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her work includes teaching, research, field interventions and training. A substantial part of her work has been on the socio-legal aspects of policing, violence against women, intervening simultaneously at the individual and systemic level. At present her efforts are to institutionalise social services and gender analysis within police systems through research, police training and trained social work personnel. She enjoys people, generating ideas, textiles and colours.
