Robin Westbrook began teaching in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Income Tax Clinic in 2006. As Practitioner in Residence, she teaches student attorneys representing low-income clients in a wide array of tax matters, practicing both at the Internal Revenue Service and before the United States Tax Court. Her areas of specialty include clinical legal education, corporate taxation and partnership taxation. Before joining the WCL faculty, she served as an Adjunct Professor at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Previously, she had been associated with Hogan & Hartson in Washington, D.C.
She serves as Executive Committee Member and Co-Communications Officer of the International Bar Association's Pro Bono & Access to Justice Committee, and she also services as an Officer of its Publications Committee.
