Mr. Warner is the Associate Director for Policy in the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Office of International Affairs. He joined the Justice Department through its Honors Program in 1993 and has served the Justice Department in multiple capacities, including the Department’s Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. In 2011, Mr. Warner became the Department=s first attorney to attend the National War College, where he earned an MS in National Security Studies. He also holds a joint degree in law and international affairs (JD/MA) from the American University, a BA in International Studies from the Ohio State University, and a Diploma in Hispanic Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid. Mr. Warner also studied at the Hague Academy of International Law. Mr. Warner has been recognized by numerous law enforcement agencies for his efforts to advance cooperation to combat transnational crime. He has published articles on law enforcement cooperation and has presented at multiple national and international fora to address international law enforcement issues.
