Cathy Schenker teaches legal research and writing to the international LLM students at WCL and works as the academic advisor to the students in the ILSP program. In addition, she runs WCL’s Summer Legal English Institute, which offers intensive courses in legal English for incoming LLM students and foreign practitioners. Ms. Schenker has published articles and made presentations on LLM education and teaching legal English to non-native speakers. Prior to teaching at the Washington College of Law, Ms. Schenker worked as a corporate associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP.
