Mr. Parisi is an adjunct professor of law at American University Washington College of Law. He teaches patent prosecution, claim drafting, and practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Parisi previously worked as a patent examiner in the Business Methods Art Unit of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined applications relating to software-based electronic commerce, insurance, health care, financial portfolio management, and business operations. Mr. Parisi held several engineering and management positions at Philips Medical Systems in the fields of magnetic resonance imaging and diagnostic radiology. He also worked at the Washington Hospital Center managing the biomedical engineering team supporting radiological imaging, nuclear medicine, radiation oncology systems, and cardiac catheterization systems.
