Adjunct Professor of Law
Alan Nemeth (WCL ‘89) is a member of the WCL adjunct faculty where he has been teaching Animal Law since 2007 and where he serves as the faculty advisor for the WCL Animal Law Society. Nemeth is also a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Baltimore School of Law where he teaches Animal Law and serves as the faculty advisor to its Student Animal Legal Defense Fund organization. He has previously taught classes in Animal Law & Policy and Law & Society on the undergraduate level at the University of Maryland, College Park. Additionally, Nemeth has written several articles relating to Animal Law issues, as well as a book v. (versus): Case Law, Concepts, & American Society on the issues facing law and society.
Nemeth is the founder and first chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Section on Animal Law and continues to be involved with the section as a member of its legislative subcommittee.
