Jennifer S. Choi has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at WCL since 2006, teaching a course in regulation of mutual funds and investment advisers. Ms. Choi also is Associate General Counsel of the Investment Adviser Association, the national association of investment advisory firms. Prior to joining the IAA, Ms. Choi served as Associate Counsel at the Investment Company Institute, where she focused on international and corporate governance issues for the mutual fund industry. Previously, she served as Assistant Director in the Division of Investment Management at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she received the Martha Platt Award for dedication, excellence and integrity. She received her B.S. degree, cum laude, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and her law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center with highest honors. She is a member of the California and District of Columbia Bars. Ms. Choi also serves as Vice-Chair and Treasurer and a Trustee of The Langley School in McLean, VA.
