Susan Booth Cassidy



Susan Booth Cassidy currently serves as a Senior Counsel with Northrop Grumman Corporation and has been in that position since December 2008. She served in a similar role for Motorola, Inc. in 2007-08. Ms. Cassidy started her career with Crowell & Moring LLP, where she was a summer associate (1987) and associate (1988-1991), working in the government contracts, environmental, and tax areas. In 1991, Ms. Cassidy moved to Arnold & Porter LLP, where she was an associate (1991-96) and then elected a partner (1997-07), specializing in commercial and product liability litigation and government contracts. Ms. Cassidy was awarded a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) in Business Administration with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Lowell (now the University of Massachusetts at Lowell) in 1985 and received her law degree (cum laude) from the Washington College of Law in 1988, where she was a Deans Fellow and a Note and Comment Editor on the American University Law Review. Ms. Cassidy has provided extensive training and seminars in the areas of government contracts and regulatory compliance to a variety of commercial companies and defense contractors and has been a member of the Legal Rhetoric program at WCL since 2009. Ms. Cassidy is admitted to the Massachusetts, District of Columbia, and Virginia (corporate counsel) bars and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
