ID Cards
Please go to main campus, Anderson Hall, Housing and Dining to have your picture taken and receive your ID card. Pictures can also be submitted online:
- Log onto the my.american.edu portal with your user id and password
- Click on the Life@AU link on the right hand column of the portal
- Click on the ID Card Information link
- Attach .JPEG or .JPG picture file and follow the instructions for online picture submission
Pictures must meet the following criteria:
- The subject is face front
- Clear resolution
- Not digitally enhanced
- No hats or sunglasses
- No red eye
After receiving your ID card from main campus, please visit the facilities office, room 383, to have your card coded to gain access to the building.
