John Dupuy is a lawyer at the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General. Prior to working at DHS, he was the Assistant Inspector General for Investigations in the Department of Interior Office of the Inspector General. In this role, he leads the Office of Investigations, which has numerous criminal investigators who investigate matters of waste, fraud, and abuse in Departmental programs and operations. It is in this capacity that John has worked on issues related to the Deepwater Horizon Gulf Oil Spill. Prior to joining the Department of Interior, John worked as a Special Agent four fourteen years with the Office of Inspector General in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Before that, he was an Officer in the U.S. Army. John has taken numerous professional training courses at a variety of institutions. He received his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California, and his B.A. in Political Science from UCLA.
