Academic Requirements
WCL students must complete the first two academic years at WCL and the last two years at UAX. At WCL, students will complete a minimum of 57 credits, including all first year and upper level required courses. At UAX they will follow a mandatory curriculum.
After completing the course of study in Spain, students will receive the Licenciatura en Derecho from UAX and the JD degree from WCL.
Courses
In addition to the regular JD required courses, WCL dual degree students must take Introduction to the Continental Legal System (may be taken second semester of first year), Business Associations, Public International Law and Federal Income Tax during their second year of study. Additional recommended courses include:
- Jurisprudence, Modern Legal Theory, or another course in legal theory, and
- Law & Economics (unless other course in Economics was taken at the undergraduate or graduate level).

- Practicum (Despacho de Abogados)
- Fourth Semester:
