Pro Bono Volunteer Training: "Small Claims Resource Center"

Please click the "Read more" button below for the whole message. -- -- Help Neighborhood Legal Services Program (NLSP) staff the Small Claims Resource Center in D.C. Superior Court! Volunteer lawyers and law students are needed on several Thursdays from 9 am - 1 pm to provide legal information to pro se litigants about small claims law and procedure in the District of Columbia. When you serve as a volunteer in the Resource Center, you will be supervised by an attorney from NLSP.

Both the time spent in training on February 7 and any time spent at the resource center will count toward the WCL Pro Bono Honors Pledge. Be sure to take legal time logs with you to get a supervisor’s signature. The time logs can be found athttp://www.wcl.american.edu/publicinterest/probono.cfm.
