The ABA Commission on Law and Aging is looking for pro bono help. This would be a great project over the winter break. Some of the work can be done remotely.

•    Research on 2012 adult guardianship legislation – assist attorney with annual update through Westlaw research, hours flexible, could be done remotely but might be better at office.
•    Research on state Medicaid managed care status, could probably be done remotely, hours flexible.
•    Completion of update on state “emeritus attorney” rules.  Could be done remotely, hours flexible.
•    Updating state adult protective services legislation, hours flexible.

There are no specific deadlines for these projects. The office is located at 740 15th Street, NW in Washington, DC. If you are interested in helping and getting legal hours credit toward the pro bono pledge, please contact Erica Wood at erica.wood@americanbar.org
